Dust seal

Dust seals are typically installed on the outer side of the end caps of hydraulic cylinders or pneumatic cylinders, serving as the system's “first line of defense.” Their primary functions are: 1. Blocking external contaminants: Preventing dust, dirt, sand particles, metal debris, moisture, and other external impurities from entering the cylinder bore. 2. Scrape contaminants off the piston rod: When the piston rod retracts into the system from the outside, the dust seal effectively scrapes away contaminants adhering to its surface. 3. Protect the primary seal: This is its most critical function.
